Let me tell you about Maximum Ride. This is a story you can completely fall in love with. This is the story of a strong, brave girl who would do anything to protect her family. This is the story of a bunch of kids who’ve gone through Hell and still keep fighting for their right to live. There’s action and friendship and familial love. The characters are fantastic. There’s romance. It’s like Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets the X-Men in the best way.
It’s hard to look at this series and not feel extreme love for it. I started reading when it first came out—I was around eleven—and now here we are, the last book just released, and I’m eighteen. This was my own Harry Potter and I will always love it and recommend it to anyone I meet.
